Wrote this in about 1991 with Martin Cilia. We recorded it live direct to cassette at Martin's in Maroubra. Inspired by the Tom T Hall songs that are often morality tales. The idea came to me of a song by a young girl who was hated on because her father was a `trailer trash' biker. But when it came to having to defend the kids in the school physically, everybody was glad of his background. I wrote a screenplay based on the song.
